Modern Expo has partnered with Waitrose for over 5 years. During this time, we have installed our refrigerators in about 50% of their stores.
We’ve specially developed vertical multidecks that consume 38% less energy compared to the retailer’s previous models. The prototype lead time for these vertical multidecks was an impressive 4 months.
Budgens
A brand-new convenience store in East Grinstead is fully fitted with energy-efficient Modern Expo’s Pro A Chillers and Freezers, which consume up to 75% less electricity than standard fridges — using only around 3.2 kWh per day — and operate whisper-quiet.
Morrisons Daily
The goal was to create a store that delivers an exceptional customer experience and outstanding product performance, with a special focus on refrigeration equipment. Taking advantage of the extra space available on site, and together with our partner Nabco, we brought this vision to life.
We showcased Modern Expo’s best practices in refrigeration equipment, creating a seamless customer journey — from semi-vertical chillers for grab-and-go, to one-door ice freezers, and full-glass cabinets that highlight the products.
The result is a store that sets a new benchmark for convenience retail.
